About Me

Alexandra Olenik MS, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist who has worked with individuals across the lifespan in maximizing their daily function and achieving their personal goals. She provides individualized, client-centered care for each treatment plan. She emphasizes collaboration with the client and family to optimize successful and desired outcomes. Alex utilizes empathy, compassion, and a sense of humor with her clients.

She has experience working with individuals with significant neurological and physical impairments. She utilizes her Skills2Care® Certification to assist specifically with working with individuals living with dementia and their care partners. She has over seven years experience working within an adult rehabilitation center in both inpatient and outpatient hospital departments. She also has held a leadership position within a Continuing Care Community as a Director of Rehabilitation.

Additionally, she enjoys contributing to the professional development of future colleagues by working within a Doctoral Occupational Therapy Program. Alex graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2011 with a Bachelor in Rehabilitation Services. She obtained her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University.

Alex enjoys quality time with her family and friends, learning how to cook new recipes, taking walks within her hometown, and watching movies.
